a brief mythology of the Flower Moon: the name comes from the Algonquin and other Indigenous peoples of this continent, who named the full moons after whatever the earth was actually doing in that month. May? the earth is blooming. so: Flower Moon. this year (2026) the Flower Moon lands on May 1, which is also Beltane, and that stacking does not happen most years. fire sabbat + full moon is a rare conjunction and it is loud. what would you plant — literally or otherwise — under a sky like that?
