tonight is the Eve of Beltane and i want to sit with this for a second. you probably know Samhain — October 31, veil between worlds at its thinnest, we honor the dead. Beltane is the exact opposite point on the wheel of the year, and the veil is thin here too. but instead of opening toward the dead, Beltane opens toward the living. faeries. spirits of growth. the green and fertile parts of the Otherworld. and — specifically, for you — the version of you that has been waiting with the porch light on for you to come home to it. this is not a metaphor. light a candle. leave an offering outside (milk, honey, or something sweet). open the door and say what you're ready for. tomorrow is the sabbat. tonight is when the door opens.
